Marine Technologies Ltd was founded in 1998 and originally consisted of former specialists from YANTAR shipbuilding yard in Kaliningrad. The company now uses two legal names: Marine Technologies Ltd and Martecs Ltd, with the latter established in 2005 to serve clients using NUPAS and CADMATIC software. "Marine Technologies"/"Martecs" offers a range of engineering services including 3-D modeling, classification calculations, workshop drawings, and production information for shipbuilding. The company is based in a three-storey house close to Kaliningrad's center and uses modern CAD workstations connected through a high-speed network with a central data server. Clients include shipyards from Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, France, and Italy, such as Fassmer GmbH & Co.KG and Abeking + Rasmussen GmbH. Marine Technologies also acts as a local representative for European resellers of ShipCons
