What COE CSW does.

COE CSW, the NATO-certified international military organization based in Germany, is a Center of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters. It focuses on operations in restricted and shallow water areas (CSW). COE CSW serves as a think-and-do institute to develop NATO capabilities. The Concepts & Doctrine Branch (CD Branch) is responsible for research and identification of CSW capability gaps, as well as the development of studies and NATO doctrines. The Training & Analysis Branch (TA Branch) supports NATO in the military transformation, particularly by providing expertise for training and analysis. Since 2016, COE CSW has been the NATO Operations Branch (MarOps) Director for the Training & Analysis Branch (TA Branch) in the area of TA Bra.
