PKL As is a tugboat company and a member of the Alfons Hakans Group association. It has its headquarters in Ventspils, Latvia, and is responsible for harbor and sea towage services there. PKL Latvia operates four modern ASD-tugboats with one of the youngest fleets in the region. The company offers various services including harbor towing, sea and icebreaking, rescue operations, as well as tug escort in hazardous coastal areas. PKL Latvia is a member of the Alfons Hakans Gruppe and has more than 50 tugs, barges, and work vessels in operation. The services are based on the Norwegian Tug Owners Standard Conditions from 1959, 1974, and 1985.
