Outward Bound Hong Kong, founded in 1970 as a registered charitable organization, is the leading provider of experiential education programs outside regular schooling in Hong Kong. The company aims to strengthen young people through challenging experiences in unknown environments and to discover and develop their potentials for themselves, others, and the world. Since 2011, Outward Bound Hong Kong has been accredited by the Association for Experiential Education (AEE), an international organization working on standards for outdoor educational organizations. The firm has cared for more than 300,000 local Hong Kong youths since its founding and is the largest outdoor instructor training institute in Hong Kong.
