COMPANIA NAVIERA VALPARAISO SPA (CONAVAL) is a Chilean firm with long-standing experience in maritime transportation and the Long-term Chartering of vessels. It operates a Fleet of Handysize, self-unloading bulk carriers and offers services for the transport of commodities like grain, general cargo and special goods. CONAVAL has since 1995 chartered more than 150 ships on Time Charter and is regarded as an excellent charterer. The company has three offices in Santiago de Chile, Rio de Janeiro and Las Condes. In the last two years they have transported approximately one million tonnes of freight and concluded more than 30 Time Charter contracts. CONAVAL is operated by a staff of ten employees who can communicate in four languages.
