American International Contractors, Inc. (AICI) is a design/build international construction firm specializing in U.S.-funded Middle East and African infrastructure projects. Founded in 1974, AICI has served clients including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, U.S. Agency for International Development, and the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations. The company completed a $112 million project in Egypt from 2012 to 2017. AICI operates out of Arlington, Virginia, with an international office in Cairo, Egypt, and draws on resources from its parent company Archirodon NV. In addition to general construction services, AICI has a subsidiary, AICI-SP, established in 2005, which provides specific security-related design-build services for U.S. government clients.
