BEIRUT PILOTAGE STATION was founded in 1882 and has been an essential part of First Lebanese Port, particularly for the management of ships entering the Beirut Port. The Pilot Station has 8 members and provides over 4,000 pilot services to inbound vehicles annually. The Station offers marine vessel-pilot services as well as consultations in the navigation and seafaring fields. Its primary goal is to ensure ships safely enter and exit the Beirut Port, with a particular emphasis on safety and environmental considerations. The Pilot Station works closely with other harbor service providers to ensure an efficient and safe harbor layout.
