MAGADAN MARINE TRADING PORT is the largest port on the Russian Far East and handles most of the cargo destined for Magadan city and its region. The port operates year-round, covering an area of 26.3 hectares with six berths and over 90,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor storage space. It owns more than 40 pieces of equipment. Approximately 99% of the cargo transported to and from the region is by sea, including all solid and liquid fuel, heavy machinery, and construction materials. Founded in 1932, the port has a total berth length of 1,100 meters and handled 1,334.4 thousand tons of cargo in 2025.
