Northern Lights JV DA is a registered general partnership (DA) company owned by Equinor, Shell, and TotalEnergies. The company offers CO2 transportation and storage as a service and has developed the world's first open CO2 transportation and storage system, which has been operational since 2025. Northern Lights manages ships for CO2 transportation and is working on expanding its capacity to meet the demand from European industrial sectors. The company is part of the Norwegian Longship project and is supported by EU funds. Northern Lights has its main office in Byfjordparken 15, Stavanger, Norway.
