OFFICE NATIONAL DES PORTS DU CAMEROON, also known as National Maritime Authority (NMA), is a technical organ under the control of the Ministry of Transport. The NMA was founded in 2000 and its main address is located in the CAA building at Boulevard du 20 Mai in Yaoundé. It provides services in the maritime and port sectors, particularly for the Douala and Limbé regions. The NMA is engaged in improving the performance and security of the port infrastructure, and is working on implementing the port policy. It manages various types of ships and terminals without specifying specific brands or manufacturers. The NMA is active in cooperation projects and regularly attends important events such as the Government Action Salon.
