Commonwealth LNG is developing a 9.5 Mtpa liquefaction and export facility on the west bank of the Calcasieu Ship Channel in Cameron, Louisiana. The facility will include five 50,000 cubic meter storage tanks and is designed to accommodate vessels. The company is part of Caturus' integrated strategy for managing the natural gas value chain, involving production, processing, liquefaction, and export. Commonwealth LNG is collaborating with Nabors Industries to develop the PACE-X Ultra™ X33 rig, the most powerful onshore drilling system currently in the United States. The facility is expected to have a capacity of 9.5 million metric tons per year.
