German Ship Repair Jamaica opened a new shipyard in Kingston, Jamaica, in late 2023. The shipyard offers drydocking and repair services for commercial vessels up to 230 meters in length. The arrival of the first Panamax-size Floating Dock in August 2023 and the successful docking of the first ship in November marked significant milestones. The GSRJ shipyard is centrally located in Kingston’s expanding logistics hub and provides reliable and efficient ship repair services to customers in the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, and beyond. The company can handle vessels up to 33 meters in width and 20,000 tons in displacement. The shipyard is located at Sir Florizel Glasspole Blvd., Kingston 17, Jamaica.
