Nordic Marine Solutions (NMS) is an independent marine and cargo surveyor founded in 1939. The company offers services including marine inspections, technical consultancy, and claims handling specifically for the shipping and transportation industry. With over 40 surveyors and industry experts strategically located around Norway's coast, NMS maintains a wide network of partners across Scandinavia and Europe. Since 2017, NMS has been approved by the Norwegian Maritime Authorities to conduct MARPOL Annex II inspections. In February 2025, NMS successfully renewed its GAFTA Member Superintendent Certification, making it the only survey company in Norway and Sweden approved by GAFTA. The company recently moved to a new location in Oslo's CBD on Rådhusgata 23 in December 2022.
