Peter Nicholls steel boats have been building steel vessels for 48 years since the company was founded in 1973. They specialize in designing and constructing various types of boats, including Dutch barges, Thames barges, wide beam barges such as the Europa 51 to 65 and the Peter Nicholls Inspection Launch, and seagoing FCN Barges. The company also offers Huffler 35 and 40 motor sailers, as well as Renegade round bilge ‘Blue Water’ sailing cruisers and Mistral chined fast sailing cruisers. Peter Nicholls and his business partner Roger Baileff still actively run the company. One of their boats, the Huffler 56, is nearing completion. The company has a range of vessels for sale, including steel boats suitable for serious long-term cruising.
