Newbury Boat Company operates at Ham Manor Marina, located upstream from Ham Lock on the Kennet and Avon Canal in Newbury, Berkshire. Founded in 1973 by Bill and Sue Fisher, it is now owned and operated by Emma and Derek Fearnley. The marina offers moorings for over 70 narrow boats and barges in a well-maintained offline basin. It provides both permanent leisure moorings for at least 12 months and temporary short-term moorings from a few nights to a few weeks, subject to availability. The company operates under the British Marine Federation/Yacht Harbour Association Standard Berthing License Terms and Conditions.
