FIC SA, founded at the end of the 1990s by government order, is a stocklisted company with the main business area of organizing international exhibition events. The firm hosts the Feira Internacional de Cabo Verde annually, which is known as the largest business and trade event in Cape Verde and has been taking place for 16 years. Besides this main event, FIC SA also organizes specialized fairs such as Expotur for tourism, Expoauto for the automotive sector, Expomar for maritime activities, FICH for construction and housing, as well as the Feria do Ambiente. The Feira das 3E’s (Employment, Enterprises, Entrepreneurship) is also under its leadership. The events take place in the ZONE INDUSTRIAL DO LAZARETO on São Vicente, a location of Cavibel.
