Sunfish.ai offers a user-friendly and portable Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) called SUNFISH, equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) technology. The AUV is capable of obstacle avoidance, autonomous mission planning, and real-time mapping and localization. SUNFISH can be used for various applications such as pier/dam/harbor inspection, ship hull inspection, autonomous cave exploration, tunnel mapping, and autonomous precision instrument deployment. The AUV can operate in both man-made and natural environments and has a dry weight of 50 kg, measuring 161 cm long, 47 cm wide, and 20 cm high. SUNFISH was developed by Stone Aerospace in collaboration with NASA for extraterrestrial ocean exploration, specifically for future missions to the Jovian moon, Europa.
