Riyadh MOU is an international regional memorandum of understanding established in June 2004 in Riyadh, consisting of six member countries: United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar, and State of Kuwait. The organization focuses on establishing a system for Port State Control and has launched various Concentrated Inspection Campaigns (CICs) on topics such as Ballast Water Management, Safety of Navigation, STCW, and Crew Familiarization for Enclosed Space Entry. The first CIC on Safety of Navigation was launched in 2015, and the organization held its 14th Annual Committee Meeting in Dubai in January 2017. Riyadh MOU currently consists of six member countries.
