St. Vincent’s Diabetic Centre is an initiative of the Major Arch Diocese of Trivandrum, founded in 1991 by the late Metropolitan Archbishop His Grace Benedict Mar Gregorios. The centre provides diabetic and medical care to widows, destitutes, and poor patients in the southern districts of Kerala State, specifically Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta. Services include rural diabetic camps, diabetes awareness programs, and free eye check-ups for all diabetic patients, treating 1350 patients monthly in rural villages. The centre’s objective is to provide free medical support to vulnerable populations and identify, educate, and offer preventive health care through subsidized medical care and support.
