SSIT, the SP-SSA International Terminal, is a strategic port in Cai Mep – Thi Vai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, Vietnam. The company was established as a Joint Venture between Saigon Port/Vinalines, SSA Marine Seattle USA, and Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) in 2006. SSIT specializes in container operations and possesses the latest STS-Gantry cranes in Vietnam. The terminal can handle various goods such as project cargo, heavy goods, steel, fertilizers, and agricultural products like wheat, soybeans, and corn. SSIT operates 24/7 and provides an effective connection to the South Vietnam for shipping companies and their customers. The company has been engaged in bulk operations since August 2014 and container operations since June 2018.
