International Maritime Academy (IMA) is a premier private maritime training academy in Bangladesh, accredited by the Bangladesh government. The academy offers courses leading to the position of Captain or Master of a vessel, including BSc (Hons) in Nautical Science and BSc in Marine Engineering. Cadets are supervised by experienced master mariners and chief engineers in class-rooms and learn chart-work and machine drawing.
