Members include property and operator enterprises, trade unions, training and education experts, seafarers, regulatory, government, and non-governmental organization actors. Socp supports and promotes innovations in maritime transportation operations. The organization organizes events and projects aimed at improving safety, efficiency, productivity, safety, and environmental impacts of ship operations in the USA. Any organization with US interests can participate in Socp.
