Småøernes Færgeselskaber is a Danish association of ferry companies founded in 1988, representing various ferry operators with passenger and car ferries of different sizes. The organization consists of approximately 30 ferry companies, many of which are municipal enterprises operating under forms such as A/S or ApS. Some routes are privately operated. These ferries serve smaller island communities and maintain connections over fjords and sounds like Limfjorden, Randers Fjord, Alssund, and Isefjorden. The ferry fleet includes vessels ranging from small passenger ferries to those capable of carrying up to 36 cars, with varying crossing times from 2 minutes to 2.5 hours for the longest routes. Approximately 360 people are employed by the member companies.
