The OSC has 1000+ members and supports over 17 billion in total economic benefits, aiming to create 20,000 direct and indirect jobs by 2030. It has approved 160 projects with a total investment of $25.5 million. One of its recent projects includes a $11.7 million initiative called Project OceanShade aimed at developing dynamic electrochromic marine glass. The OSC is part of Canada's national effort to grow the ocean economy and tackle global challenges through sustainable solutions.
