DataPorts is a project aimed at creating a data platform for cognitive ports, focusing on connecting transportation and logistics companies around seaports to manage data as an asset. The project aims to address the challenges faced by the port industry by providing secure and private environments for sharing information between stakeholders, enhancing supply chain operations, and reducing emissions. DataPorts will offer novel AI and cognitive tools to the port community. The project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme with a grant of €5,740,586.63, involving 13 partners over a duration from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2022.
