Marine Service GmbH has been a leading provider of maritime consultancy since 1958, particularly in the areas of LNG, LPG and Ethylene as well as Offshore-Windenergy. The company has carried out construction supervision and drawing inspection on more than 85 LNG ships. Besides gas technology, Marine Service's portfolio of services also includes FSRUs, "LNG as Fuel" projects, and converter platform projects for offshore wind parks. In 2018, Marine Service delivered its first own-designed LNG Fuel Gas Supply System on board the cruise ship AIDAnova, which was installed worldwide as the first such system on a cruise ship. To date, eleven cruise ships with an LNG Fuel Gas Supply System from Marine Service are in operation. The company has a sister company called Chemikalien Seetransport, which offers ship and crew management for various ship types.
