Bruce S. Rosenblatt & Assoc., LLC is a Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering company with a history spanning three generations. The firm was founded in 1947 as M. Rosenblatt & Son, Inc. (MR&S) and was one of the largest comprehensive companies in this field in the USA. In 2000, the company was sold to AMSEC LLC. In March 2008, Mr. Bruce S. Rosenblatt, son and grandson of the founders, acquired the Oakland division of MR&S and founded BSR under the name Bruce S. Rosenblatt & Assoc., LLC. Since then, BSR has had two locations – in Arlington, VA and Newport News, VA – with a team of former MR&S employees and new hires. Since the last twelve years, the company has provided design, engineering, and ILS support for commercial ships, shipowners and operators, the US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Navy (USN), and the Military Sealift Command (MSC).
