Mare Nostrum is a Croatian Association of Shipowners, active since 1991. The organization encompasses primarily important Croatian shipyards, managing in total 108 ships with a gross tonnage of 1,329,054 GT and a deadweight of 2,018,286 DWT. Mare Nostrum has set itself the goal of creating favorable and competitive business conditions and representing the interests of its members as well as the shipping sector in general before relevant state authorities and the European Union as well on an international level. The Udruga became a full member of the European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA) since January 1, 2023.
