IGI Poseidon is a joint-venture of EDISON S.p.A. and DEPA International Projects S.A., contributing to European energy diversification and security of supply by promoting and developing new energy infrastructures. The company has projects such as the EastMed-Poseidon, an approximately 2,100 km direct connection from Levantine basin to EU market with a transport capacity of 12-20 Bcm/y, and IGB, an interconnection between Greece and Bulgaria in operation since October 1, 2022. IGI Poseidon also focuses on hydrogen readiness initiatives, including the development of offshore sections for hydrogen transportation. The company recently partnered with Corinth Pipeworks to advance hydrogen transportation through high-pressure offshore pipelines and has collaborated with Tenaris to advance offshore hydrogen readiness via ultra-deep offshore pipelines.
