Søby Shipyard is a Danish shipyard with more than 90 years of experience. The yard offers ship repairs in three dry docks, where the largest dock measures 140 x 24 x 6 meters. Søby Shipyard has specialized in the construction and modernization of various types of ships, including fishing boats, passenger ships, tankers, general cargo vessels, and special vehicles. The yard is also involved in the development of sustainable solutions for maritime transport, such as the construction of semi-spherical or fully electric ferries. Søby Shipyard has its location in the southwestern Baltic Sea and offers services both for new shipbuilding projects as well as repairs and maintenance work. The yard was founded in 1931 by Arthur Christian Jørgensen, who initially repaired marine engine motors and later produced his own engines.
