The company operates four Multi-Purpose Terminals with twelve berths and runs around the clock in a 24/7 operation. Weserport handles loading and storage for steel, raw materials, agricultural goods as well as secondary raw materials and has since 1995 handled over 200 million tons of sea cargo. The company is a Joint Venture of Rhenus and Arcelor Mittal with 51 percent of the company shares held by Rhenus and 49 percent by Arcelor Mittal Bremen.
