N Pacific Fishing Vessel Assoc, also known as the North Pacific Fishing Vessel Owners’ Association (NPFVOA), provides Coast Guard-approved maritime safety training for commercial fishing and marine professionals in Seattle since 1985. The organization offers STCW certification courses and a vessel safety program that includes hands-on safety training classes for various types of mariners, such as commercial fishing, small passenger, workboat, and research vessel crews. Based at Seattle’s Fishermen’s Terminal, NPFVOA serves approximately 200 vessels, support businesses, and individuals through its membership-based structure. Since 1985, the organization has trained over 56,000 commercial fishing industry professionals from Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, Everett, Edmonds, Juneau, and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
