Great Yarmouth Port Authority (GYPA) is a Trust Port and the Statutory Harbour Authority for the Port of Great Yarmouth, which was leased to GYPC (Peel Ports) in 2007 for 99 years. The port comprises a deep-water outer harbour capable of accommodating vessels up to 220 meters in length and up to 10.5 meters draught at all tide states, along with a river port that can handle vessels up to 120 meters or 6.2 meters depending on tidal conditions. Strategically located, the Port of Great Yarmouth serves the southern North Sea gas fields and offshore wind farms, making it a center for offshore energy sectors. The port has a long tradition in handling general cargo such as fertilizers, grain, timber, aggregates, and dry and liquid bulks.
