Strofades Ships Ltd was founded in 1979 and has since offered commercial and technical support for electronic navigation and communication equipment. In 1986, Strofades Instrumentation as a subsidiary company was established, specializing in the sales and service of UTI gas detectors. The firm can repair these installations in their workshops as well as on anchored ships. Since 2008, Strofades Ships Ltd has been offering long-term contracts for the maintenance of UTI gas meters, which is economically advantageous for both sides. In 2010, a new department was added that focuses on researching new technologies and innovations to keep their technical knowledge up-to-date. Since October 2018, Strofades Ships Ltd has been the official representative of SEMA gases from GMS INSTRUMENTS B.
