Intl Assoc of Institutes of Navigation (IAIN) is a non-profit NGO connecting navigation institutes and organizations worldwide to promote and disseminate the science and practice of navigation as well as related information technologies. IAIN has its headquarters in the Netherlands and includes several national and multinational navigation institutes, Associate Members, Corporate Members, and Corresponding Members. The activities of IAIN include the organization of the triennial IAIN World Congress, where IAIN awards can also be presented. Additionally, IAIN collects and publishes news, event calendars, and special articles on navigation and navigation techniques. Furthermore, member institutes of IAIN represent various international regulatory bodies such as the IMO and ICAO.
