Hutchison Port Sohar is a deep-sea and freeport located in the Oman region, managed by Sohar Industrial Port Company, a joint-venture between the Port of Rotterdam and the Sultanate of Oman. The firm lies in the Arab Economic Triangle, which encompasses regional power centers Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sohar. In 2014, Terminal B operations began, while operations at Terminal C ceased in 2015. The company has a capacity of 3 million TEU and is capable of processing Megaladers. Hutchison Port Sohar has received the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for their group target reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as well as the 2050 Netto-Null goal. The firm uses the Next Generation Terminal Management System (nGen) to optimize efficiency and processed a capacity of 87.5 million TEU in 2024.
