Established via a 50-year concession agreement with the Karachi Port Trust, KGTL aims to enhance container capacity and efficiency. The terminal currently offers a berth depth of 13.5 meters over an 800-meter quay wall, operating five berths. Located in close proximity to Karachi city, it provides substantial container yard space and 24/7 arrival and departure services. Additionally, KGTL is the first container terminal in the region with onsite rail links upcountry. The company offers e-services including online billing, tracking, vessel schedules, SMS inquiries, and documentation portals.
