INSB Bulgaria Ltd. is the exclusive office of the Greek Classification Society International Naval Surveys Bureau (INSB) in Bulgaria and Romania, established on April 10, 2003, by Mr. Hristo Bihlyumov with 38 years of maritime experience. The company performs class and statutory surveys, issues certificates, and supervises new-shipbuilding throughout the construction period. INSB Bulgaria Ltd. also conducts condition and evaluation surveys, technical consultancy, approval of engineering studies, stability calculations, and computations for vessels. The company is independently owned and operates under a bilateral agreement with INSB and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. As of 2023, the staff consists of qualified and experienced marine surveyors and technicians.
