Lietuvos Jūrinis Klasteris was established in Klaipėda in 2030 with the aim of promoting sustainable use of marine resources and growth of a blue economy. The initiative was launched by the Lietuvos Jūrinis Klasteris, which was founded in 2016 by the Lietuvos suskystintųjų dujų klasteris and 17 partners including local and international business organizations and research institutions. The cluster focuses on port infrastructure and technologies, shipbuilding and repair, maritime and wind energy, and supports the port city's economic development strategy KLAIPĖDA 2030.
