ACRA is Hong Kong’s foremost professional trade association for the HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) industry, founded in 1961. It serves as a key platform fostering connections among industry stakeholders. ACRA specializes in smart building solutions and has a membership of 229 members, including 181 associate members, 36 ordinary members, and 12 fellow members. The majority of the Group I & II air-conditioning installation contractors are approved by the HKSAR Development Bureau for public works projects. ACRA organizes various training programs and technical visits to keep its members updated on industry developments. As of 2026, it has been running a certificate course titled "Air Conditioning Pipe Insulation Materials Knowledge, Technical Theory and Practical Course.
