Carnetic As is a Norwegian Early-Stage-Startup specializing in the design and development of wind turbines. The company has successfully developed and tested a Vertical-Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) model, particularly the Darrieus H-Design. This turbine is cost-effective and environmentally friendly as it is made solely from wood (or alternatively bamboo and flax) and consists of only one rotating part. Carnetic has provided these design documents under the Creative Commons license CC BY, meaning that anyone can use the design provided they attribute the author and website. The turbine is specifically designed for limited spaces and has a diameter of 3.5 meters and a height of 4.5 meters.
