AKRA is a kart racing sanctioning body based in the United States. It insures tracks and events, promotes rules and regulations for asphalt and dirt karting, and organizes road racing series such as the 2026 Road Racing Series and the Ultimate Kart Challenge. AKRA was founded on September 27, 2005. The organization is involved in multiple classes of karting and has partnered with other organizations like the National Karting Alliance (NKA) and the World Karting Association (WKA). A tech manual for the 2026 AKRA 4-Cycle (Dirt) class was released, available both online and as a printed version.
