Ocean Rider Seahorse Farm is a family-run business located in Kona, Hawaii, established in 1998. It is one of Hawaii’s most popular attractions and a winner of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award. The farm offers daily tours led by naturalists with biology degrees, where visitors can see, hold, and learn about seahorses. Ocean Rider raises seahorses and marine life to strict farming standards and sells them for personal and commercial aquariums. The farm suffered damage from a storm in 2026 but successfully raised funds to replace the destroyed roof. Ocean Rider also operates a gift shop and provides an active community for seahorse enthusiasts through its website, seahorse.com.
