HOPE SA Foundation, founded as NPO 250-962, has been active since the onset of COVID-19 and the resulting poverty in South Africa. The organization has focused on combating poverty, inequality, and gender-based violence through education, healthcare, and disaster relief. In July 2021, approximately 30,000 people in KwaZulu-Natal were assisted with food aid, including about 400 hot meals per day at various locations such as Johannesburg and Pietermaritzburg. Additionally, since March 2020, the organization has distributed over 200,000 hot meals and supported around 60,000 people with basic supplies and protective items. HOPE SA oversees diverse projects including food assistance, women's and children's protection, as well as educational initiatives.
