Impexmetal SA

Impexmetal SA, now Gränges Konin S.A., is a metalworking company based in Konin, Poland. Founded in 1966 as a state-owned enterprise, it began producing aluminum through electrolysis and casting. In 1972, the rolling department was established, initiating the production of rolled flat products from aluminum and aluminum alloys. The company was privatized in 1995 and merged with Impexmetal S.A. in 2008. By 2009, the electrolysis division was closed, focusing solely on casting and rolling operations. In 2020, Gränges AB took over the facility, increasing its annual production capacity to approximately 140,000 tons of rolled products by 2025 through investments in both casting and rolling departments. The company produces aluminum sheets and strips with thickness ranging from 0.05 mm to 2.00 mm and widths up to 1,500 mm. Gränges Konin S.A. holds several certifications including ASI Performa
