Sealift International FZE is a private company founded in New York in 1975. Originally specializing in paper and rice transportation as well as operating breakbulk liner connections to the Mediterranean and from Brazil, today the firm operates six US-flagged ships and charters several dozen vessels under foreign flag annually. Sealift is one of the largest providers for U.S. Government material aid through ocean transport. The office is located in Oyster Bay, New York, where all operations, chartering, engineering, crewing, IT, and accounting will be managed. Sealift is ISM-approved and ISO 9001:2000 certified.
