Curaçao Ports Authority NV (CPA) is the authority responsible for the management of the ports on Curaçao. Their services include security and safety measures, coordination of access, maintenance and development of the ports as well as the management of the Emma Bridge and ferries. CPA offers a broad range of berths, facilities and maritime services for cruise ships, passengers, freighters and oil distribution. The company is particularly engaged in the development projects of Rif Seaport Curaçao and St. Anna Bay, which are intended to unlock residential, commercial and entertainment areas along the canal. CPA was selected by Cruise Critic as the best port in the southern Caribbean. The firm is a member of various organizations and has partnerships with the Dominican National Ports Authority (APORDOM).
