Schiffswerft Bolle in Derben is a family-run shipyard that has been active since 1861 and specializes in the new building, conversion, and repair of passenger, gastronomy, and work ships. The shipyard offers hybrid and electric drives and has more than five generations of experience. Since 1990, the company has built 222 new vessels, with each ship being a unique design and individually planned. Services include the construction of passenger and gastronomy ships as well as work ships, sloops, and prams. With a launch in its own hall-halls, the shipyard builds steel and aluminium, with the entire steel construction under cover. Schiffswerft Bolle received the Innovation Award Inland Shipping 2019 for their hybrid drive of the MS Schwielowsee and has been equipped with 95% electric drives since 2020.
