Ipma is the Armenian Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, established in November 12, 2019. Its objectives include creating a fair and favorable environment for international pharmaceutical manufacturers operating in Armenia, promoting advanced manufacturing practices, and fostering continuous improvement. The association has organized training courses such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice). Notable events include participation by Sonia Khachatryan, the head of MDA Association, in the EATM and APHARM Eurasian Pharmaceutical Forum in February 2020. Ipma aims to support local manufacturers and importers with international standards training and validation processes.
