Bültjer Bootswerft is a family-owned shipyard founded in 1899 and located in the harbor of Ditzum, Ostfriesland. The company specializes in the restoration of traditional vessel types such as schooners, tjalken, Finkenwerder cutters, and peat barges for clients from the Netherlands, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and Ostfriesland. Since 1928, over 250 new builds have been constructed here, with all being fishing vessels until 1958. The shipyard also offers repair and maintenance services for boats of all kinds, including planking replacement, deck renewals, kiel repairs, mast, spire, and rudder construction, and the overhaul or replacement of various aggregates.
